I can change the world as an individual but not ... or maybe it is? The whole time was the solution - my own solution - right before my eyes and I did not see them. Jährlich werden gigantische Flächen intakten Regenwaldes durch Brandrodung vernichtet. Die günstigste Form der Landgewinnung. Durch die Thermik des brennenden Regenwaldes entsteht ein gewaltiger Sog nach innen, der die vordersten Bäume vom Feuer verschont. Deshalb legen die Akteure dieser illegalen Rodung hier noch selbst Hand an. Beliebt sind dabei zuverlässige Kettensägen made in Germany, die der entsprechenden Unternehmensgruppe im ersten Halbjahr 2010 einen Umsatz von 1,6 Milliarden Euro mit zweistelliger Steigerungsrate beschert haben soll.
